Elizabeth Dorothy Glendenning, of Durham passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Tuesday, May 29
th, 2018 in her 98
th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Glendenning. Loving mother of Paul Glendenning and his wife Betty of Durham and Janet and her husband John Koning of Innisfil. Cherished grandmother of Laura Glendenning and her husband Sam McKee, Jon Glendenning, Mark Koning and his fiancee Jade Leong and Elizabeth and her husband Quang Dinh. Great-grandmother of Max and Dorothy was looking forward to the arrival of her second great-grandson in August. Dear sister of Margaret Armstrong of Unionville. Dorothy will also be remembered by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and she will be missed by her friends at Abbeyfield House and Rockwood Terrace. rd from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be at the Funeral Home on Monday, June 4
th, at 11 a.m. with visitation prior to the service from 10 - 10:45 a.m. Private interment will be held at a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. Memorial donations to the Abbeyfield House Durham or the Durham Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
