Passed peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday March 28, 2018 in his 85th year. Don, loving husband to Linda, predeceased by wife Pat Harvey, will be sadly missed by his children Paul (Christine, predeceased) (Robin), Ted (Linda), and Sharon (Al) Fenton. Don will be cherished by his grandchildren Jennifer (Alex), Brent, Spencer, Taylor, Jordi, Jacqueline, Mackenzie, Alison (Jake), Curtis (Stephanie), and by his great granddaughter Abigail Smith. Don will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Mary (George, predeceased) Allen, Joan, predeceased (Larry) Lillicrap, Jean, predeceased (Barry, predeceased) Bywater by his brother John (Sara) Harvey, and by his sister in laws Joan (Don, predeceased) Barton, Pauline (Bryan, predeceased) Armstrong, Diane (Tom, predeceased) Lambrick, Cindy (Bob, predeceased) Lambrick, Ann (Bob, predeceased) Clarridge, Gerry (Doug, predeceased) Wright, and Donny (Wayne) Ritchie, by his brother in laws Terry (Ana) Clarridge, and Ron (Jean, Predeceased) Webb. Don will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday April 6, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m and on Saturday April 7 from 12:30 pm until the time of service in the chapel at 2 o’clock. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation IMRS Department, Mariposa House Hospice, the SPCA Orillia Branch, or the Charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
