It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Don Hawke on November 3, 2021, in his 69th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Betty-Ann for 43 years.
Loving and devoted father of Andrew (Nicole) and Leanne. Cherished and very proud Papa of Bradley (Alexis), Kailynn (Josh), Emma, Jakson, Tyson and Nash.
Brother of Ted and Susan and families. Predeceased by his brother Robert (Bob). Loving father of Stephen (Dawn), Shelley & Tracey.
Son of the late Bill and Lorna Hawke and Son in Law of the late Joe and Marie Lee. Loving brother-in-law to Joe and Laura, Jack and Betty, Carolyn and Dave, Randy (predeceased) and Brenda, Bill and Cathy, Peter and Jane, Mary-Lynn (predeceased) and Wes, Angela and Ed, Michael (predeceased), Lisa and Steve, Christa and Randy (predeceased).
Long serving employee of Canada Post in Orillia. To know Don was to love him. He was an avid golfer, camper and loved his sports. He hated to admit he was a Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan, but loved his team.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral mass will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N, Orillia on Saturday November 13, 2021 at 2 PM.
