Following a brief illness at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday May 10, 2019 in her 92nd year.
Helen Hebbes of Orillia, beloved mother of Susan Zaroski and her husband Jerry and the late Patricia Hebbes. Loved grandmother of Ryan Zaroski (Kaitlyn), Jerrett Zaroski (Grace) and Lauren Thorn (Mike). Cherished great grandmother of Huxley Thorn and one great granddaughter on the way. Predeceased by her brother James Wilkinson.
Helen will be sadly missed by her friends of the former Young at Heart Group, the staff and residents of Sundial Lakeview Retirement Residence, Seniors in the City, The Salt Group and the many people she served coffee to, for customers of her daughter Susan’s Regal Open Houses. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Helen’s life will be held in the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Saturday June 8, 2019 from 12 noon until 2 P.M. with sharing of memories at 1:30 P.M. If desired, memorial donations to the Mariposa House Hospice or the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
