Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Thursday February 15th, 2019 in his 73rd year.
Beloved husband of Christine for 50 years. Loving father of Leah Herbert (Mike Shurtliffe), and Wayne Herbert (Jody Miller). Loving poppa of Maddie Bailey (Desi Newman)Christie Herbert, Jenna Buchanan (Trevor Dixon), and Tyler Herbert (Trisha Randall). Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Rosemary Herbert. Wayne will be greatly missed by his brothers Reg, Fred (Kathy), Chuck (Sue); predeceased by Wesley (Marion).
He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the OSMH Dialysis Unit, the nurses of the ICU, especially nurse Jana for all their compassionate care.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date
