With his family by his side, Donald slipped peacefully away to be with his heavenly family on Wednesday May 2, 2018. Loved father of Brad (Chris), Barry (Terri) and Dawn (Cameron). Adored grandpa to Brian (Melissa), Amanda (Greg), Cassandra, Tara (Jeff) and the late Christopher (Nicole). Great grandpa to Sophie and Wyatt. Brother of Warren and Florence and predeceased by Howard, Myrtle, Mervin, Barbara and Jean. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Don spent most of his life in Orillia always ready and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. If Dad touched your life in his memory please pass on a good deed to anyone you know in need. Dad would like that. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service to bury the cremated remains will take place at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia, on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 1 o’clock with a celebration of life to follow.
