It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Nanny, Great Nanny, and sister, peacefully at the Atrium Retirement Residence on Monday May 6th, 2019 in her 83rd year. Jean was born in Orillia September 14th, 1936 to the late Edward and Florence Burnett. Beloved wife of the late Donald Howey. Loving mother of Randy Howey, Barbara Gammon and her husband Bob. Proud Nanny of Lori (Amit), Shelley, Patricia (Jordan), John (Jody), Randi, and Tammy (Brett); Great Nanny of Caden, Emma, Dominic, Zoey, Annica, Quinley, Audrey, and Lucy. Dear sister of Donald (late Shirley), Larry (Holly), Eileen Robertson (late Vernon), and Margaret Handy (George). Jean will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Friday May10th from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday May 11th, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
