Passed away peacefully at Spencer House on Monday, February 14, 2022 in his 77th year. Born in England, Pat grew up in Ontario and was a graduate of the University of Ottawa. Husband and friend of Wendy (nee Gardiner). Loving father of Erica Wilson, Daniel (predeceased), Paula Ellison (Mike), and Jean Kirk (Todd). Brother of Penny Grand (predeceased), Mary Bagshaw (Ian, predeceased), and Jamie Kirk (Anita). Proud grandfather of Hazel and Nolan Wilson, Avery and Elena Ellison. Son of the late James and Stella Kirk. Pat will be missed by friends, nieces and nephews, and their families. Pat was passionate about music, especially jazz; loved the outdoors, camping and cycling; followed world events and environmental issues avidly; and never stopped learning. His family will gather for a celebration of his life. Cremation has taken place. Grateful thanks to the staff of Spencer House for the care and friendship they gave to Patrick. If desired, memorial donations to Post-Polio Canada would be appreciated and may be made through the Mundell Funeral Home.
