Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Saturday March 30th 2019 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Diane La Pointe (nee Evans) for 35 years. Loving father of Sean Dunn, Bryan Dunn (April), Michael La Pointe, Chris La Pointe and the late Eric La Pointe. Proud grandfather of Dylan, Nate, Evin, Sophia, Lyla, and Hannah. Dear brother of Fred (Joan), David, Margret, and the late Marie and Brian. Robert will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Interment will be held on Saturday May 4th at 2:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, 320 Coldwater Rd West in Orillia. As an expression of sympathy memorial donation may be made to Hospice Simcoe through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia.
