Passed away at Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf, Barrieon Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the age of 91.
Beloved husband to Eileen for 70 years. Loving father of Bernie (June), Yvonne Davies (Bob), Lawrence, Paul (Shirley) and Mark (Tammy). Cherished grandfather to Matthew (Irene), Chad (Melissa), Colette; Marion Davies, Megan Proteau (Derrick), Emma McLaren (Shawn); Will, Dan (Morganna), Ben (Sarena); Chris (Paige), Josh (Cyn), Chase, Cade; Marcia and Nicole. Great grandfather to Andrea, Jacob, Timothy; Coryn, Pierson, Colton; Myles; Connor, Abigail; Avery, Leyna; Thea; and great great grandson Paxton. John will be lovingly remembered by many other family members, friends and acquaintances.
Family and friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie on Monday from 3-5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 10 o’clock a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Barrie. Memorial donations to Covenant House or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
