Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday November 26th, 2018 in his 69th, year. Joe LaHay of Orillia, much loved husband of Catherine Annette LaHay (nee Heritage) of 42 years. Loving father of Philip LaHay (Dianne) and Wendy LaHay (JJ Alexander). Loving grandfather of Michael and Amanda. Dear brother of Marion Dupui-predeceased, Archie LaHay (Irene), Larry LaHay-predeceased (Jane), Bill LaHay-predeceased (Marg), Geraldine Winchester (Bill), Shirley Gowanlock (Alec), Dorothy LaHay, Monty LaHay (Judy), Paul LaHay, Linda Groves (Don Haney), Brenda Livingston (Bruce) and Ray LaHay (April). Special friend and “Papa Joe” to Tina. Also remembered by his special friend Steve Brown.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home- 38 James Street E. Orillia on Wednesday December 5th from 1 to 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice.
