It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim (Jimmy) Latour on Tuesday August 9, 2022. Loving husband of Stacey (Bemus) and father of Evan. Youngest loving son of Larry and Gina Latour of Orillia; brother of Robert (Kim); uncle to Bailey (Nickname #1) and Andrew (Nickname #2). Son-in law to Eugene and Gloria Bemus of Orillia and Raye Bemus of Penetanguishene. Brother-in-law to Becky (Bemus) and Phil Smith of Warminster. Also missed by Uncle George and Aunt Lynn Livingston and family and many other family members and dear friends too numerous to mention but not forgotten. Jimmy is predeceased by his grandparents Lloyd and Emily Livingston of Orillia.

Jimmy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He could be found anytime at the hunt camp or on the lake in this boat or ice fishing. His was a life well lived. Jimmy will be dearly missed by his family and many many friends and all who knew him.  Jimmy was a long time employee of Duraline (Gravenhurst Plastics).

A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held at a later date and a Family mass at Guardian Angel’s Church will be held on Tuesday August 23rd at 10:00 am. Burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Orillia.

May you rest in peace Jimmy.
