LEGATE, Robert Elliott

(Retired Elementary School Principal) - Passed away at home on Saturday July 14, 2018 at the age of 87. Bob, beloved husband of Joyce (nee Daley). Loving father of Susan Train (Morley predeceased) of Barrie, Barbara Brown (Murray) of Newmarket, Rick Legate (Rosanna) of Toronto and Nancy Goodman (Steve) of Huntsville. Cherished grandfather of Craig Woodrow (Denise), Scott Woodrow (Jaclyn), Erica & Carman Brown, Rob & Nicole Legate and Lindsey Legate. Proud great grandfather of Alora, Alexis, Kylie and James. Sadly missed by his furry companion Noel. Dear brother of Elizabeth Legate of Toronto. Survived by his mother-in-law Luena Daley. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Gwen (Ed), Sharyn, Marlene and families. Following cremation, visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Sunday July 22, 2018 from 2 - 5 PM. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday July 23, 2018 in the chapel at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
