(February 23, 1943 â January 20, 2019) - Peacefully died at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 in her 76th year. Gloria will be deeply missed by her husband Gordon Link. Loving mother of Lorie Summers (Dennis) of Kingston, Teresa Coleman (James) of Kingston, Michael Blue of PEI and James Blue of Barrie. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren James, Christopher, Matthew, Elijah, James and Krystal as well as great grandchildren Hannah and Grayson. Dear sister of Ivan, Robert, Catherine, Adrian and Richard. Predeceased by her parents Gerald Brooks and Bessie Johnson and brother David. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Gloria was born in Napanee, Ontario. In later years she moved to Orillia where she spent many happy years before returning to her hometown. Gloria was very creative and enjoyed embroidery, painting and drawing. She was very much a people person and loved a good conversation; when shopping would usually run into someone she knew. She was passionate about all animals but her favourites were horses, her dogs and her cat Maurice. Gloria was a wonderful woman and those who knew her loved her. She will be sadly missed by all. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral.
