Passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Friday March 16, 2018 at the age of 70. Loving father of George, James, and Shona (Steven) Thompson. Cherished grandpa of Bailey, Mysty, Braden, Jared, Stella, Parker, and Oscar. Dear brother of Duncan (Marlene), and Charles (Sharon, predeceased)). Predeceased by his brothers Donald (late Joan), and Edward (June). William will be missed by his nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Thursday March 22, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held in our chapel on Friday March 23, 2018 at 11am burial to follow at Atherley Cemetery. Reception will be held after the burial at Carson Funeral Homes Reception Hall. Memorial donations to the OSMH Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
