Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on August 6, 2020, at the age of 86.
He is now reunited with his mother Annie Hunt, sisters & brothers-in-law; Laura Luscombe (Roy) and Lillian Hann (Rex). He leaves behind his nieces and nephews; Wayne Luscombe (Roma), Sandra Snow ( Bill), Terry Luscombe (Marianna), Barbara Blagaich and Ron Hann (Krista). Uncle George will be missed by his 12 great nieces and great nephews. George will be missed by his Salvation Army Church Family, as he took great enjoyment out of many friendships and services there.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Monday, August 10th from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, the funeral service will be private, however, you may view the live stream at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGLIu9-qr2lbuRi0n62A4SA/featured?view_as=subscriber on Monday afternoon, August 10th, at 2:30 p.m.
Interment to follow at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. Please note that masks and physical distancing will be required within the funeral home. In Memory of George, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be gratefully appreciated.
