Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, July 8th, 2021. Sharon's amazing strength and spirit in her long journey with cancer will never be forgotten by her family and friends.
Beloved wife of 54 years to Ron Matchett. Loving mother of Christopher (Samantha) and Jennifer (Jamie). Proud grandmother of Sabastian and Madison. Cherished sister of Patricia, Diana (Bud), Brian predeceased(Andrea). Loved sister-in-law of Albert (Lorna), Charles (Susan), Josie (Peter), Lynne (Doug), Nancy (Rex), Dawn (Geoff) and Stacey (Kent). Sharon will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Harmathy and all the Nurses & PSW's from Bayshore Home Health for their compassionate care. As per Sharon's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the near future.
