Matthews, Donna 'Gail'

Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 12th 2022 at the age of 68. Gail was born in Newmarket, cherished daughter of Dennis (Pat) Martin and Betty Martin (nee Keetch). Beloved wife of Peter for 42 years. Loving mother of Christine Winchester (Dale), Michael Matthews, and Scott Matthews; special mother of Marcy Gofton, Suzanne Waghorn, Angie Joseph, and Kate Sutherland. Proud grandmother of Ashley, and Jesse (Dana); great grandmother of Monroe. Dear sister of Gary Martin (Heather), Peter Martin (Deb-deceased), Susan Lalonde (Ron) and Brenda Kosnaski (Don). Best friend of Barbara and Bob Lewis, and Mike and Terry Richard. Gail will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Gail’s life will be held at a later date when friends are able to safely gather.
