Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in his 77th year.
Beloved husband of Marisela McDougall (Vargas). Loving father of Dale A. McDougall, Michael C. McDougall and Christopher D. McDougall. Dear brother of June Saunders (Keswick), Patricia Ward (Orillia), Margaret Sharpe (Orillia) and Dorothy McDougall (Orillia). Predeceased by his parents Hector and Dorothy McDougall. Predeceased by his first wife and the mother of his boys Alice Gale McDougall (Joslin). Survived by grandchildren Emily, Justin, Benjamin, Andrew, Sarah and A.J., and great grandson and joy of the last year of his life, Rory. He will be sadly missed by his Mamaisa (Isaura Losada, Marisela’s mother), and by his nieces and nephews, and the Losada family around the world.
The family is very thankful to the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph’s Health Centre (Whispering Oaks) for the excellent care and for making his last days so comfortable and peaceful.
A service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held at All Saints Lutheran Anglican Church, 210 Silvercreek Pkwy. N., Guelph on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 11 am. Reception to follow in the church hall. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 519-822-0051.
