Peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia, on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at the age 87 years. Barb McEown of Orillia, beloved wife of Robert (Bob) McEown. Loving mother of Steve (Sheila) McEown of Baxter, Paul (Cheri) McEown of Huntsville and Brenda (Butch) Givens of Orillia. Also loved by her grandchildren Jessie, Sammie, Chrystal, David, Jaden and Kara (predeceased) and is a great grandmother of Mathew, Connor, Hailie and Kara-Jean. Dear sister of Ross Gaudaur (predeceased). Barb is survived by her nieces, nephews and their families. Cremation to take place. Family and friends are invited to meet the family at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Monday from 7 - 9 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday afternoon, May 29th 2018 at 1 o'clock. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #34 "Vimy Lounge", 215 Mississaga St., E., Orillia. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society.
