McINTOSH, Mildred Elizabeth 'Midge'

Passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Wednesday, January 23, 2019; in her 97th year.

Midge McIntosh (nee: Jones ) of Orillia, beloved wife of the late George R. McIntosh. Midge was predeceased by her parents David & Gunhild Jones. Loving sister of Isabel Wolstenholme (Ray predeceased) of Orillia and brother-in-law Bill Seymour (Alice E. predeceased) of Orillia. Predeceased by siblings and their spouses Eric (Eleanor), Amos (Shirley), Edith (Doug) Belton. Cherished aunt of Lorie (Bob) Wild, Susan Seymour, Leah (John) Cavanaugh, Peter (Ann Marie) Seymour, Joel (Terri) Seymour, Kim (Brenda) Belton, Sandi (Greg) MacDonald, Ricky (Cathy) Jones, Vicky (Roger)Hager, Debbie (Larry) Johnson and many loving great and great great nieces & nephews.

Midge always felt blessed to be included and part of the McIntosh Family and enjoyed special times, visits and memories with her four step-children, 17 step-grandchildren, 39 great step-grandchildren and 16 great great step-grandchildren.

Midge took great pleasure in giving and receiving cards and letters from all the family which she adored. Midge was also a Life Member of No. 6 S.F.T.S., R.C.A.F. and thoroughly enjoyed the comradery and social times at every Airforce Reunion in Dunnville she attended. Midge always had a story about her many travels and the people she met. If she had Facebook in her time, she would have had tens of thousands of friends and would have kept in touch with them all !

Following cremation, the family received friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Tuesday, January 29th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. and on Wednesday afternoon, January 30th from 1 o'clock until time of Memorial Service at 2 o'clock.

Interment followed at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be gratefully appreciated.
