Melhuish, Marjorie Kathleen (Black), peacefully at Hospice Huronia-Tomkins House, Penetanguishene, on Monday, 25 April 2022, at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her loving husband Ross Melhuish. Beloved mother of Gordon Servant (Heather Ebbs) and Steven Servant (Julie Houston). Cherished sister of Paul (Lillian) Black and Ross (Irene) Black. Dear stepmother of Linda Woodhead, Carol Burnett (Joe Wise), Dianne (late Ken) Kostiuk and Laura (Joe) Healy. She will be sorely missed by her 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Marj will be fondly remembered by her friends from Bayshore Village, the Villages of Leacock Point and Leacock Retirement Lodge. She was known for her kindness, her warm heart and her care for others. At different times in her life, Marj loved to dance, to golf and play tennis, to travel with Ross, to play bridge and bid euchre and other card games, to connect with people and places via her iPad, to do crafts and build jigsaw puzzles, and to tend her flowers, but most of all she loved her family, and was much loved in return.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday May 7, 2022 from 12 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Mask wearing is preferred.
