Passed away peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre on Wednesday, August 28th, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Faris) who together have been blessed to celebrate over 60 years of marriage. Bob, will be sadly missed by his three sons: Scott (Sharon) of Kitchener, Ian of Oro Medonte and Todd of Oro Medonte. Proud grandpa of Matthew (Sophie), Rebecca (Taryn), Jordan, Bradley, Alexandra and Bobbie (Jessica) and great-grandchildren Iris and Sonny. Predeceased by brothers Fred and Len as well as sister in law Barbara. Dear brother in law to Shirley of England.
Bob was an active community man not only serving the public as a Police Officer with the O.P.P., but enjoyed his past involvement with many fraternal organizations including the Corinthian Masonic Lodge #96 (Barrie), Kitchener Kiwanis and Champlain Seniors.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Monday, September 9th at 11 a.m. followed by a time of visitation & reception with the family until 2p.m.. In Memory of Bob, donations would be appreciated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Sick Children's Hospital.
