Departed this life to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Phillips, loved daughter of the late Winnie and Alex Newell. Jean leaves her precious daughters, Lorrie Forsythe (Glenn), Lynn Phillips (Terry) all of Orillia, Kathy Jacobs of Barrie and step daughter Sherry Knappett (Terry). A loving Nana to Ryan & Cameron (Diana) Stamper, Wendel & Owen Jacobs and Danielle McCarthy.
Proud great grandmother of Colton and Luna. Devoted sister of Norma Lee. Loved aunt to Jim Lee (predeceased) and his daughters Avery & Darah Lee. Loved sister-in-law, friend, traveling companion and kindred spirit to Sandy Phillips of Angus. Family, friends and church family were always a big part of Jean's daily life and prayers.
Funeral Service will be held at St. David Anglican Lutheran Church, 133 James St E, Orillia, on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 10 AM. Interment St. Luke's Cemetery. Memorial donations in Jean's memory may be made to Christian Children's Fund Canada or St. David's Outreach.
