At Champlain Manor with family at his side on Thursday August 16th, 2018 in his 90th year. Lloyd Phillips of Orillia, beloved husband of Elsie Phillips (nee Strehler) of 66 years. Loving father of Heather Mills and her husband Al Reed, Carolyn and her husband Andrew Naylor, Sheila and her husband Evan Devine, Sharlaine and her husband Gord Foran, Paul Phillips and his wife Jessica, Nancy and her husband David Campbell and the late Richard and Anne. Loving grandfather of Vanessa, Nathan (Carly), Nicole (Joel), Michael (Victoria), Brolin, Marlow (Scott), Spencer, Mitchell, Drake (Natalee) and Emily. Great grandfather of Keegan, Alex, Mya and Allistair (predeceased). Dear brother-in law of Frieda and her husband Les Windover. Lloyd was an employee of HRC for 29 years. Special thanks to the third floor staff at Champlain Manor, Dr. Aaron Barnett and his staff; and the staff of C4 (IMRS1) of Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for all their care and support. It is truly appreciated.
Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street East Orillia on Sunday August 19
th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Monday August 20th at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Gideon Bible Memorial Plan would be appreciated.
