Passed away peacefully after courageous 14 year battle with cancer at the Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Orillia on November 15, 2018 at the age of 67.
Cathie, beloved wife of John . Loving mother of Jenneke Schop-Barrett (Chris) and Vanessa Davis (Neville). proud grandmother of Alexis Schop-Hicks, Dominic Barrett and Marley Davis. Loved daughter of Joyce and the late Mark "Mick" Hamelin. Dear sister of Karen Hamelin, Grace Kidd (Rob), Lorraine De Carli, Paul Hamelin (Brenda), Mary Moreau, Mark Hamelin (Donna), Laura Morris (Grant), Peter Hamelin and Margaret Hamelin. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sadly missed by best friend Charlotte Rice.

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Tuesday November 20, 2018 from 7 PM - 9 PM.
Funeral Service will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 50 Fittons Rd W, Orillia, on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Gilda's Club or Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated.
