(July 30, 1943 - July 11, 2019) - Passed away peacefully at the R. V. H on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 just prior to his 76th birthday. Lloyd Schram of Oro-Medonte chosen farm hand and son for 60 years on the farm with the late Howard and Bessie Crawford, fondly remembered as a brother by Dianne (Jack) Waddell, Joan (Roy) Lavin, John (Doris) Crawford and Doug (predeceased) Lynda) Crawford, and also many nieces, nephews and friends over the years. Lloyd spent most of his life living at Oro Station going to church, playing cards, longtime volunteer at the Oro Fair selling beef draw tickets, regularly stopping on Sundays to visit with neighbours to have a cup of coffee and butter tarts. A Celebration of Lloyd’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 21st, 2019 at 1 o’clock with visitation from 12 p.m. at Grace United Church 350 Grove Street East, Barrie. Interment of cremated remains to take place in the Little Brick Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Oro Agricultural Society New Building Fund, Grace United Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
