Lynne was a lifelong aficionado of literature, film and music. Her passions led her to complete her Masters in English Literature before ultimately pursuing her career ambition of becoming a clinical psychologist. She completed a Masters and PhD in Psychology at York University. Lynne dedicated the majority of her career to the treatment of adolescents, spending most of her career at Surrey Place in Toronto. Lynne retired to Orillia to be closer to her family.
She received compassionate care at the Birchmere Retirement Residence in Orillia, and then Mariposa House Hospice in Severn, in the last years of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home (705)325-2231. Due to current restrictions around Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date when it is safer to do so.
