SNEAD, Robert 'Bob' Orland

Passed away at home, Orillia on Sunday, April 3, 2022, in his 85th year. Bob Snead beloved husband for 56 years to Ruth (nee Lloyd).  Loving father of David Snead and Kerry (Brian) Readman. Also loved grandfather of Ashlynn (Colin), Megan and Calum Snead, Joshua and Lauren Readman.  Beloved son of the late Eileen Gallagher and Jessie & Orville Armstrong.  Dear brother of  Linda Langley (Ernie predeceased),  Darlene Ayers (John), Marlene Fleet (George) all predeceased, Bernice Gill(Bill predeceased), Barry Armstrong predeceased, and survived by  Helen Fleet, Cheryl (Dave) Hawkins and Jamie (Bonnie) Armstrong.  Bob will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families.  Bob enjoyed singing in many choirs in the Orillia area.  Spent his retirement woodworking and camping with family.  He also enjoyed volunteering with various organizations.  He was a proud grandfather and loved spending time with them.  Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia, on Tuesday, April 12th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.  A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel Wednesday afternoon, April 13th, 2022, at 1p.m.  Reception to follow. Interment; Atherley Cemetery, Atherley, at a later date.  If desired, memorial donations to Mariposa House Hospice or the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated.
