It is with our deepest sorrow, the family announce the passing of Angelina on Wednesday, October 26; in her home surrounded by her loving family. She is now at peace in the arms of the Lord. She was a loving, devoted, and selfless wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family and friends were her greatest joy. Angelina beloved wife of Eugenio Spina (predeceased). Her treasured memory will live forever in the hearts of her children, Anna Spina (Giuseppe), Lidia Cook (Milt predeceased), Marilena Spina-Botman (John). Devoted Nonna of Angela Baldassarra (Steve), Mike Spina (Anna), Rosa Puchiele (David), Jolina Botman (Phil Thompson), Johannes Botman (Elizabeth). Great grandmother of Nicholas, Cristian, Julian; Sofia, Joseph; Serina, Daniel, Matthew; Gus (great grand-dog), and Lorelei, Wilhelmina, Beatrix. Loving daughter of the late Palmo and Francesca Carpino. Dear sister of Maria Carpino (Giuseppe) both predeceased, Rosina Carpino (Michele predeceased), Bernardo Carpino (Assunta predeceased), Giovanni Carpino (Genoveffa) both predeceased, Nella Apa predeceased, brother-in-law Antonio Apa. Dear zia of many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Stokreef, and her PSW's Debbie, Karen, Sandra, Beth and Erica for their wonderful care. The late Mrs. Angelina Spina will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Sunday, October 30th from 2 - 6 pm. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St., N., Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, October 31st, 2022, at 1:30 pm. Entombment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. Parish Prayers to be said in the Parlours, Sunday afternoon at 2 pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Mariposa House Hospice, Severn, Guardian Angels Church, Orillia or the Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated.
