With great sadness, we announce the passing of Diana Thompson at the age of 55.
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Diana passed peacefully in her sleep at home on May 7, 2022. Born on October 25, 1966, in Toronto she was predeceased by her loving parents Robert (Bob) and Beverley Collins - Babcock. Beloved and devoted wife to husband Daniel (Danny) Thompson. Cherished mother to Olivia (Cory), Grace (Matt), Amy, Daniel and Mikey. Loving sister to Bobby Babcock (Amanda). Adoring Nannie to Clara, Elijah, Oliver and Hanna. Diana will be greatly missed by lifelong friend, Karen (Ian, Savannah) Herridge. Fondly remembered by mother in law Chrissy and Dan Thompson, niece’s Eryn and Georgia and many other relatives and friends.
Diana’s life was dedicated to her family, taking great joy in holidays, birthdays and time spent with her grandchildren. Her beautiful smile and kind nature will be profoundly missed and she will forever stay in our hearts. We will cherish our countless memories together.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street N, Orillia, ON. Visitation and services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at 1 pm, with the service beginning at 2 pm in the chapel.
