Richard “Thomps” John Thompson,
62, passed away peacefully at home
Thurs, Jan 19 after many years-long
battle with diabetes and heart disease.
Richard was born January 23rd, 1960
in North York, Ontario to Roy & Ruth Thompson, of Richmond Hill, Ontario.
He was predeceased by parents Roy & Ruth Thompson and brother Terry.
Richard is survived by his: Partner Linda, Children Emma, Rachel (Mike), and Michael. Siblings Stewart (Evelyn), Bob (Ruth), Susan (Dan), Kimberley. Grandchildren Cayenne, Max, Paine, Kairi, and Maci.
Also Loving Stepmother Irene Shiels of Saskatchewan.
Richard was an independent owner/operator of a carpentry business for 20 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, riding/fixing motorcycles, and had a strong passion for music. Richard was a "Collector" and everyone that knew him, knew he was always tinkering.
Richard will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held in the future for all who wish to attend.
