Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at age 80, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of his wife of 60 years, Patricia Thomson. His children, John Daniel Thomson (Liz) and Corinne Monica Thomson. Grandchildren, Savannah and Desiree Thomson, Sean Nisbet (Michelle), Heather Heighington (Jeff), Sarah Bittorf (Jason), Cole Simcoe. Great grandchildren Jonathon Low, Jade Nisbet, Lexani Heighington and Abbigail Bittorf. He will be missed by family and friends. Predeceased by parents John "Jack" and Alice Thomson and sister Donelda Bilodeau. Celebration of Life to be held at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, ON on Sunday January 14th, 2018 at 1 o'clock pm.
