Passed away peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia with her family by her side on Wednesday September 5th, 2018 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Carl Tibbett. Much loved mother of Donald, Glenn (Melissa), Paul (Missy), predeceased by Alice (Eric- survived), Harry (Sue), and Philip. Cherished grandmother of Josh, Shannon –deceased, Katie, Christina (Cam), Meghan, Paige, Jordan, Trent, Ben, William, Jessica, Lee. Dear great grandmother Jade, Kennedy, Ryleigh, Jane, Ben, Wyatt, Kristee; great great grandmother of Deklynn. Dot will be lovingly remembered by her many family and friends . She was a faithful and active member of St. James Anglican Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star Lilly of the Valley Chapter 141 Orillia. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all the staff at Spencer house for their excellent care and support.
A service to celebrate Dot’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday September 8th, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a reception. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the St. James Anglican Church.
