If you “Heard It Through the Grapevine” that Harold has passed, then that is exactly how he wanted it.
After eleven minutes dancing and three sweaty shirts later, he is now resting peacefully.

Predeceased by mother Georgie Smith, father Obert Trenholm and stepfather John Smith
Remembered fondly by nieces Erin (Darcy) Trenholm and Kirsten Trenholm and Great nephew Jacob.
Greatly missed by second Mom Aunt Mary Rumney (Uncle Jim predeceased) and fondly remembered by Aunt Millie and cousins across the country.
For the last several years Harold has been cared for and befriended by many PSW’S, his favorite, Colleen MacCuaig wrote this tribute.
For the last 5 years (half of my career) I tried my best to give you the best care that you could ever ask for at home. I am at a loss for words, can't think straight I honestly don't want to believe that you are gone. 😭 you were such a caring, funny, loyal and abit of a pain in my ass lol but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I know you had a lot of health issues; surgeries and I was there for you for some of those. Harold you are no longer in pain you are free from it. I just wish you were still here with us, I know I sound selfish but I'm sorry. 🙁 you were loved by so many, family, friends and us PSW’S who were so close to you. I'm going to miss our morning coffees and laughs and I'm going to miss that awesome smile of yours. I'm going to miss my bestie as you would say. R.I.P. funny guy love you & miss you 😘🙏💙 until we meet again. - feeling heartbroken.
Donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of your choice and would be gratefully appreciated by the family and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home (705) 325-2231. Messages of condolence welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glint on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumns rain, Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
