Carl Eugene White passed away peacefully on Friday, July 2nd, 2021 at the Leacock Care Centre in Orillia where he had resided since January. Beloved husband of Marian Louise Parrott and the late Gail Eileen Twining.
Loving father of Barbara Eileen Keenan and Lesley Kathleen Castles. Cherished Grandad of Meghan and Stephen Keenan. Carl was noted for his kind and gentle spirit, always putting others before himself. He was dedicated to his family and close friends; enjoying many happy times with his grandchildren, Meghan and Stephan as they grew. He started in the Cable Television Industry as a young man and spent over 25 years with MacLean Hunter Cable Television, working in the Toronto and St. Catharines systems before starting as General Manager of the Midland-Penetanguishene Cable Television Station, a position he held for several years. Carl was a member of the Midland Rotary Club for many years, donating his time and energy to several community initiatives.
A Private family service will be held July 6th, 2021 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Midland. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or The Couchiching Conservancy in Orillia via the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia (705) 325-2231.
