J. Vernon (Vern) Winterton entered into rest September 5, 2018 at his home, at the age of 97. Vern is predeceased by his beloved wife Laureen, in 2008. Loving father of Doreen (Terry), Fred (Kathy) and Linda (Chris). Dear grandfather of Ceirin and great grandfather to Cameron. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Thursday September 13, 2018 from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow at Newmarket Cemetery with his wife Laureen. If desired, memorial donations to the Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
