Passed away peacefully at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia on June 25th, 2021, at the age of 92. Beloved husband to Barbara (nee: Housser) for 62 years . Cherished father of Murray, Lloyd (Suzanne) and Karen Ellis (John). Loved grandpa of Colleen (Cory), William (Kathy) and great grandpa of Quinn & Iris. Predeceased by his parents John & Isabella Woodrow and by his brother & sister-in-law Earl (Gertie) Woodrow. He will be fondly remembered by special friend and family member Shawn Fountain. Gordon leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours of the Oro-Medonte community.
Gordon was a man of loyalty and dedication serving as Past Secretary, Treasurer, and Elder of Esson Presbyterian Church; Past Secretary & Treasurer of Knox Cemetery, Oro and Past Board Member of the Oro Agricultural Fair Board and the Orillia Agricultural Society. Gordon had a life-long passion for his cattle, livestock & equipment auctions, and took great enjoyment in reading the Ontario Farmers Magazine.

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday, June 30th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Due to the current covid restrictions, registration is necessary; please RSVP through the Mundell Funeral Home website or call (705) 325-2231 to schedule a visitation time.
Funeral Service attendance will be private, however, all are welcome to view the funeral via the live stream, beginning Thursday, July 1st at 1 PM.
