WORRELL, Linda Mae (nee Purdy)

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday March 28^th, 2018 in her 67^th year.  Beloved wife of Allen Worrell of 49 years.  Loving mother of Robert (Fran), Randy (Marilyn) and Georgina (Mike). Proud grandmother of Ricky, Gordon, Andria, Jessica, Christy, Rebecca, Amber, Julia and Mikey. Cherished great grandmother of Kaydence, Kaelynn, Savannah, Sabia, Karma, Izabeth, Josh, Lilly and Sophia.  Linda is predeceased by her parents Garnet and Florence Purdy. Dear sister of Jack (predeceased), Doreen (late Albert), Gail(Victor), Roger (Anita), Deb (Bruce) , Colleen (Garry), Marleen (Danny), Brian ( Kate), Karen and Sharon. Linda will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Chan and the ICU nurses at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Linda’s life will be announced at a later date. Memorial Donations to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital foundation would be appreciated by the family.
