Collingwood OPP have now reopened Heritage Drive after having it blocked off for a police investigation.
According to a police report released this morning, a body was found in the water near the shoreline on Sept. 13 around 4:30 p.m. OPP, Simcoe County Paramedics, and the Collingwood Fire Department responded to the call.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious," stated the OPP news release.
A post mortem will take place. The name of the person who died has not been released.
