Cheese! Group tries to steal security cameras in Port McNicoll

A group of approximately eight people attempted to steal equipment from a storage building near moored SS Keewatin

TAY TWP. - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Southern Georgian Bay detachment are currently investigating an attempt theft that occurred at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 31, 2019 on the property where the the SS Keewatin is moored at the end of Talbot Street in Port McNicoll.

Property managers contacted the OPP Communications Centre after it was noticed that approximately eight youths were on the roof top of a storage building on the property and the youths attempted to steal the security cameras.
