Clerk at Hillsdale's Old Corner Store robbed by knife-wielding bandit

Suspect was seen getting into a four-door silver or grey model car, possibly a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla, with round tail lights

SPRINGWATER TOWHSHIP - On Dec. 10, 2019 at approximately 5:20 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery when a suspect entered The Old Corner Store in Hillsdale and robbed a the store clerk at knife point.

The suspect fled the store with cigarettes and cash and was last seen getting into a four-door silver or grey model car possibly a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla with round tail lights; possibly with a tail light out.

On Dec. 11, 2019 at 6 a.m. The same suspect robbed Jug City in Wyevale, Tiny Twp. The suspect was seen entering into the passenger seat of a silver or grey older model car. The suspect is described as: male, white, 5'10" blonde hair and blue eyes.

In both cases the male wore gloves, a hood and partially covered his face. The white male is believed to be in his 20's or 30's. Police are looking for assistance in identifying the male and or the vehicle/vehicle driver. 

This male is described as:
  • White
  • Between 20 to 30 years old
  • 5'10"
  • Skinny build
  • blonde hair
  • blue eyes
