'Erratic driving' leads to numerous charges

In spite of the driver's efforts to avoid the officers detection, the vehicle was located and the driver charged

BRACEBRIDGE - On Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 1:40 a.m. a Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on patrol in the town of Bracebridge when the erratic driving behaviour of a vehicle on Wellington Street caught his attention. In spite of the driver's efforts to avoid the officers detection, the vehicle was located in the area of Quebec Street, Bracebridge.

As a result of the officers investigation, 18-year-old Dylan Creighton of Bracebridge with the following offenses:
    •    Driving while under suspension HTA 53(1) x3
    •    Operate motor without insurance CAIA 2(1)(a)
    •    Use plate not authorized HTA 12(1)(d)
    •    Obstruct plate HTA 13(2)

The accused will appear in Provincial Offenses Court on March 27, 2018 to answer to his charges.
