INNISFIL, ON - Two men are facing a number of charges following an altercation in Innisfil.
On Wednesday, March 20, 2019 around 10 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a report of an altercation in a parking lot on Innisfil Beach Road near Highway 400.
When officers arrived, the suspects and victims had left the scene but were located a short time later and the suspects were arrested.
Investigation revealed two men had been assaulted.
Two Innisfil men aged 21 and 28 were charged with the following offences:
- Assault Assault with a weapon
- Dangerous operation
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Point Firearm
- Careless use of a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
The suspects and victims were known to each other. Both accused were held for a bail hearing.
