On Saturday June 27, 2020 at 8:40 p.m. Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a 9-1-1 call about a disturbance on First Street in Gravenhurst and upon arrival located one of the involved people in their vehicle.
After a conversation, it was determined that alcohol was a factor and police subsequently arrested and charged 35 year-old Sharlaine Fawthrop of Bracebridge with impaired operation (over 80) CC 320.14(1)(b).
She will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on Sept. 1, 2020 to answer to her charge. Furthermore, her driver's license has been suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded.
