Missing Midland man located 'in good health'

OPP investigators who with the assistance of the public were able to locate the missing male on April 23, 2019 in Barrie. He is in good health and there is no longer any concern for his well being. Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment wish to thank those members of the public who assisted them in this missing person investigation.

Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently attempting to locate a missing male of the Midland area. Officers are looking for Steven William Wilkins who is 59 years of age and has been living in Midland recently. He was last observed at a retail store on County Road 93 Midland at 5 p.m. April 7, 2019 and friends have been trying to contact him since without avail and are concerned for well being as his absence is uncharacteristic .

He is described as being male white, 5' tall, 170 lbs, stocky build, gray/brown hair, hazel eyes, unshaven and last known to be wearing a grey sweater, jeans, black winter jacket with a fanny pack. see attached photograph.
