Members of the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle, which sent one person to hospital.

On June 16, 2022, shortly before 11:30 p.m., Orillia OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Bass Lake Sideroad in Orillia. The lone occupant was transported to a local hospital and transferred to a Toronto-area hospital with life-altering injuries. Members of the Central Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team and Collision Reconstructionists assisted with the investigation.
