Nearly $8,000 in merchandise stolen from Tay Township store

TAY TOWNSHIP - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Southern Georgian Bay detachment are currently investigating a break and enter to the Liquigator Liquidation store on Talbot Street Port McNicoll, Tay Township.

The entry was reported by a member of the public at 12:29 a.m. Aug. 15, 2019 while the unlawful entry was still in progress. Officers are seeking information of the two males wearing dark clothing who were observed riding bicycles away from the scene of the crime.

A number of watches and camera equipment items were stolen from the store with an approximate value of $8,000.
