Orillia man airlifted to Toronto after motorcycle crash

Crash occurred just before midnight on Monday night when motorcyclist, 35, left road and struck a tree near Gravenhurst

Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police officers are investigating a motorcycle collision that occurred on Monday, July 13, 2020, just before midnight on Canning Road in Gravenhurst.

A nearby resident called for assistance after a man riding a motorcycle left the roadway and apparently struck a tree.

The 35-year-old Orillia man was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later airlifted to a Toronto hospital with what were ultimately determined to be minor injuries.

Canning Road was closed while the OPP Technical Traffic Investigation Unit attended to assist with this ongoing investigation.
