The Orillia OPP were dispatched to a theft at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Front Street in the City of Orillia. Investigation reveals that the male and female suspect removed items from the store without paying for them. Surveillance was provided by the business for identification purposes.
The Orillia OPP have arrested and charged 46-year-old Trevor James Griffiths and 47-year-old Wendy Stafford-Everett, both from Orillia, with theft under $5,000.
Both accused were released by way of Promise to Appear with a court date of June 12, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia.
The Orillia OPP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter. Several pieces of information were called into police to help bring this incident to a successful conclusion.
